MONOCHROME

Seeing images in monochrome is a fundamentally different process to that of colour photography. A black and white image is stripped of it's colour information, forcing the viewer to look at  it in a different way. Tonal separation becomes key as does does contrast. The simplification afforded by monochrome helps us to understand and interpret visual elements present in a scene differently. Monochrome is timeless and I take pride in ensuring that my monochrome images are reproduced to the very highest standards on the very best museum quality paper stock using the the highest quality printers
